Help Wanted: Accounting Office Personnel with Auto Dealership Experience

We are currently seeking skilled and motivated Accounting Office Personnel to join our team at Cooper Chevrolet Buick GMC in Anniston, AL. If you have a passion for the automotive industry and possess excellent organizational and communication skills, this is the perfect opportunity for you. As an Accounting Office employee, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations in our Dealership's Business Accounting Office, including data entry, bookkeeping and general office work.  Automotive Dealership experience required, only qualified applicants will be considered. This is a Full time position, Monday - Friday, with competitive pay plus great benefits listed below.

Responsibilities:
  •     Data entry, filing, scanning, copying, and faxing
  •     Update and maintain accounting journals, ledgers, and other records
  •     Show ability to adapt new tasks and skill sets when required
  •     Research and resolve discrepancies and issues
  •     Ability to multitask efficiently and prioritize work
  •     Possess strong organizational and follow-up skills
  •     Show the ability to work independently and pay close attention to detail
  •     Must have good attendance and adhere to timelines and schedules
  •     Understand deadlines and apply appropriate sense of urgency to all tasks
Qualifications:
  •     Attention to detail and ability to work with complex paperwork and systems.
  •     Organizational and time management skills.
  •     Knowledge of computer skills, and open to learning dealership software.
  •     CDK/Dealertrack experience is a plus.
  •     Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.

You must be an outgoing, friendly person who enjoys sales and talking on the phone. This is a Full time position with highly competitive pay plus great benefits listed below.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage internet leads and phone inquiries in a timely manner in order to generate appointments (inbound and outbound)
  • Pursue additional leads provided by management
  • Set appointments for potential customers to meet with Sales Associates
  • Establish relationships with clients, following up via email, text, and phone calls
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Contribute to the success of dealership by working professionally with a positive attitude
  • Collect information and document in the CRM system to complete the contact
  • Stay informed about the dealership's inventory, promotions, and services to provide accurate info to customers and encourage sales.
  • Work closely with sales, service, and other departments to ensure a seamless customer experience and contribute to overall dealership success.
  • Work in team driven environment to meet goals and monthly targets.
  • Deliver inquiries and messages intended for other sales personnel and departments
  • Backup cashiering responsibilities when required.
  • 40+ hours per week.
Qualifications:
  • Excellent organizational, follow-up and time management skills.
  • Previous experience with phones, telemarketing or customer service experience highly preferable.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with computers and CRM systems/software.
  • Demonstrate a professional, enthusiastic, and friendly attitude at the first point of contact with any potential client/customer.
  • First-class verbal, written and communication skills including the ability to initiate dialogue with dealership staff and management and communicate effectively and efficiently.
  • Organized, multi-tasked, self-motivated with the ability to work effectively as part of a team or on individually-assigned tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where superior time-management and prioritization skills are essential and required.
  • Able to sit and work at a computer keyboard for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
  • Previous automotive experience is preferred, but not required.
